SMWM is helping to transform this former naval station into a new neighborhood for the city. Higher densities place 90% of residences within a 10-minute walk of the ferry terminal, where shops and restaurants wrap around a waterfront plaza along the marina. Sustainability is achieved through climate-based design, best practices for storm water management, an organic farm, wind and solar power generation, and green buildings.
